Hi, I'm katie.

The Wedding of Kaitlin and Michael

Nov 28, 2021

I know one thing is for sure, Kaitlin and Michael are a power couple. Kaitlyn and Michael were married in September, surrounded by all of their family and friends. They were married at the Birkby House, which is one of my favorite venues to photograph at! The Birkby House is a historic home and garden that provides a beautiful backdrop for your special day. Built circa 1770, the estate includes:

  • The Main House.
  • The Carriage House.
  • The meticulously landscaped gardens.
  • The idyllic white gazebo.

Kaitlin wore a beautiful lace and chiffon gown by designer Val Stefani, and Michael wore a blue suit that complimented perfectly with the bridesmaid’s blush gowns.

The reception decor had all white tablecloths and flowers along with gold accents. Gold accents are my favorite trend this year, and I hope it continues into 2022. Gold is such an elegant and lux color for a wedding.

There was laughter, happy tears, and more smiles during their ceremony than I have ever seen. All of these emotions carried on into their reception. We heard speeches from multiple guests during the reception, cut their cake, and danced the night away.
