The River Farm Wedding Venue
River Farm, located in Alexandria, VA, is a historic estate that offers a picturesque setting for any wedding. Nestled along the banks of the Potomac River, the venue boasts lush gardens, sprawling lawns, and stunning waterfront views. It was the perfect location for Leta and Jarrod to celebrate their marriage while surrounded by nature and their closest loved ones.
Florals Took Center Stage For This River Farm Wedding
Shelley’s Floral created a floral wonderland for this River Farm wedding. The colorful spring flowers added vibrancy and life to every corner of the venue. The floral arrangements featured a mix of ranunculus, roses, and carnations in a palette of pinks, purples, oranges, and whites. These blooms perfectly complemented the natural beauty of River Farm and added a touch of elegance to the day.
The Attire
Leta’s dress was one of the standout elements of this River Farm wedding. The gown featured a fitted bodice with intricate lace details, a flowing tulle skirt, and a dramatic train. The look was complete with her floral Christian Louboutin heels. Leta looked like a vision of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle. Jarrod complimented Leta’s look with a classic black tux. They both looked nothing short of perfection!
The Cocktail Hour and Reception
The reception was held in an elegant tent adorned with gold details. The tent was draped with flowing white fabric and chandeliers, creating a romantic and magical atmosphere. The tables had gold-rimmed plates, crystal glassware, and lush floral centerpieces. The overall effect was both timeless and glamorous for this River Farm wedding. One of the highlights of the evening was the custom cocktails and delicious food served during the cocktail hour. The signature cocktails were crafted to reflect Leta and Jarrod’s personalities and tastes. The cocktail hour food and reception food was equally impressive, featuring a variety of gourmet bites.
As the day turned into evening, guests were treated to a breathtaking sunset. The sky was painted in pink, orange, and purple hues, providing the perfect backdrop for photos and adding to the romantic ambiance of the day. The weather was perfect, with a gentle breeze and comfortable temperatures, making the outdoor celebration even more enjoyable. At the end of the night, the dance floor was full, and so was my heart!
