Katie and Zach have such amazing chemistry! Katie and Zach were married at The Woodend Sanctuary and Mansion in Chevy Chase, Maryland. They were married in a gorgeous spring ceremony.
What is the meaning of chemistry? Chemistry is the complex emotional or psychological interaction between two people, and Katie and Zach fit that definition to a T.
Getting Ready
I love capturing you getting ready to see all of the fun you are having with your closest friends (or family!) before you walk down the aisle. I capture the details of your wedding day, you and your friends having a great time, and you as a fiance. Katie was such a gorgeous bride on the day of her wedding. She laughed, cried, and was a ball of happy nerves as she stepped into her wedding gown with her mom’s help.
Wedding Colors
Katie and Zach’s wedding colors were bright and bold pinks. The girls wore pink dresses, and the groomsmen wore grey suits. If you know me, you know how much I love the color pink. The color pink is so inviting, happy, and fun!
The Ceremony
Katie walked down the aisle to Zach by her mom and dad. They read their vows to each other in front of their closest family and friends. With the biggest smiles I have ever seen, they walked out of the ceremony as husband and wife. After the ceremony, the guests headed to cocktail hour. The bridal party and the newlyweds headed to take gorgeous pictures with me! I should add that the weather was absolutely perfect on their wedding day and you can tell in the photos!
The Reception
After we were done with pictures, everyone was announced to the guests, and the party began! Toasts were made, cake cutting happened, and the first dances were so much fun! The guests, bridal parties, and Kaite and Zach danced the night away (see the last picture!). Thank you, Katie and Zach, for trusting me to spend the day with you. I am so excited that I got to not only witness your wedding (and your chemistry!) but also capture your day in still form for you to look back on for years to come!
