Andrew and Ellen’s Spring Wedding Day

Andrew and Ellen’s Spring Wedding Day | Colorful flowers, personal details, a packed dance floor, and a beautiful spring day are just a few of my favorite things to describe Andrew and Ellen’s wedding at The View at Bluemont. Spring weddings in Virginia are my favorite time of the year, everything is blooming, and the weather is still cooler. Check out everything from Andrew and Ellen’s wedding day below; I am so excited to share! 

The Venue

Ellen and Andrew married at the brand new The View at Bluemont in Bluemont, Virginia. The View at Bluemont offers over 100 acres of manicured landscape and overlooks the rolling hills, which gives views of Loudoun Valley to Tysons Corner and the rest of Washington, DC.

Pre-Wedding

When I first saw Ellen in her wedding gown when she arrived at The View at Bluemont, I gasped; she was absolutely stunning, and I knew Andrew would feel the same way when he first saw her during their first look! Ellen’s gown was a lace top with a chiffon bottom, but the lace was also throughout the chiffon; it was so unique! Her bouquet, designed by Bee’s Wing Farm, was filled with colorful spring flowers; you will also see these colors throughout the wedding day! 

Spring Wedding Ceremony

Ellen and Andrew’s wedding ceremony took place overlooking the Loudon Valley; wait until you see their ceremony set up! Ellen’s parents walked her down the aisle, the look on their faces was pure joy and excitement, and they looked so proud. Their love for each other was so strong during their ceremony that all guests could feel it. It was romantic, happy, and personal. 

Cocktail Hour and Reception

Directly after the ceremony, we went into cocktail hour and reception. The guests caught up with each other, ate amazing catered food, and danced ALL NIGHT LONG. The reception was adorned with spring flowers, white linens on the tables, and blue napkins. I loved the subtle blue touches throughout the day; blue is a great spring wedding color. 

Photographing Ellen and Andrew’s wedding was a dream come true! From the spring colors to their love, it was the perfect day. Congratulations, Ellen and Andrew; thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!
